PATRICK PUCKETT

Patrick Puckett was born in Jackson, Mississippi, in 1979 and moved to Austin, Texas, in 2005. Studying under professor James Meade at the University of Southern Mississippi, he received his bachelor degree in fine arts in 2002. His paintings are visual inventions culled from a life lived in the South.

KRISTIN MOORE

Kristin, a native Texan, attended St. Edward’s University for undergraduate studies. While at St. Edward’s, she extensively studied art history and contemporary drawing and painting. She spent time studying abroad in Germany learning the German language while also developing a love for travel. Upon graduation in 2013, Kristin continued working towards a portfolio to apply for graduate school while working in the service industry and volunteering at various art organizations in Austin.

MATT KAPLINSKY

Matt Kaplinsky works in a variety of paint media, creating original works largely inspired by landscapes and still lifes. Reflections of various 19th and 20th century masters can be seen in his 21st century works, including such figures as Charles Burchfield, David Bates, and Picasso, as well as Matisse, Monet, Degas and Van Gogh.

 

DANIKA OSTROWSKI

Danika paints landscapes en-plein-air and creates in-studio work based on photographs, sketches and memories. She currently lives and works in Austin, Texas creating commissioned paintings and developing her own series of work which she exhibits throughout the country.

FERNANDO “FERN” PALOMO

Fernando “Fern” Palomo was born in Fort Worth, TX, in 1968. His artistic talent was obvious from a very young age. Fern studied visual communications and commercial art at the Art Institute of Dallas and has spent time living in Austin, TX and Edwards, CO. Fern paints portraits in an illustrator style. He draws inspiration from his surroundings and creates characters and subjects from his mind. Fern currently resides in Lockhart, TX.

FELICE HOUSE

You can find Felice House's work in museums and galleries across the country, as well as internationally. Her portraiture is on display in collections including the Booth Museum of Western Art, Prentice Women's Hospital, and New Mexico State University.

 

CHRISTOPHER ST. LEGER

Christopher St.Leger is an artist of the Romantic tradition whose source of imagination is both light and mood. Born in northwest Indiana in 1973, he studied architecture in Ohio and in Budapest, Hungary, and now lives in central Texas with his wife and two children.

SARA THOMPSON

Sara Thompson has always enjoyed tinkering with the mechanics of things and working with her hands. Hair stylist by trade, the Lockhart resident dove into the art of chainstitch in 2018, quickly falling in love with her very spirited 1931 Singer machine. Sara organically combines her love for metal work and attention to detail in the threads of chainstitch, finding inspiration in the geometry of nature and the light, color, and sounds of the sixties and seventies.

ELI WALTERS

Eli Walters is a self taught oil painter living in Taos, New Mexico. His still life and portrait paintings use an immediate and intuitive painting process to uncover an emotion deeper than the simplicity of the scene. He works from life using handmade paint to orchestrate the forms, colors, and textures into cohesive and subtle images.
